[Uaturfinfo] Arizona School IPM Conference - Save the Date

The first Arizona School IPM Conference will be Tuesday April 17, 2018 at the Carl Hayden Community High School in Phoenix.
The Arizona School IPM Conference will be an annual event for all persons involved with schools and childcare facilities in Arizona; and anyone with an interest in ensuring safe, healthy learning environments for children.
Turfgrass management will be featured for football and baseball fields and landscapes; weeds and pest management; pesticide safety; and indoor structural integrated pest management.
Mark your calendars for the all-day education opportunity and watch for more details as the agenda develops.


*** Another important education opportunity in early March will be to attend a series of training workshops to prepare for the pesticide applicator core exam.  The AZ Dept of Ag will offer the exam following the training sessions so that applicators can apply for their license.  Again, watch out for more details when the final agenda issues soon.
