[Uaturfinfo] Demonstration Field Day of Nativegrasses and Kurapia

[Umeda, Kai - (umedak)]

You are invited to view a demonstration of the establishment and performance of several nativegrasses and Kurapia on Friday, September 15, at the Briarwood Country Club in Sun City West.  The experimental plots are located off of W. Stardust Blvd, just east of N. 135th Avenue. (No street parking is allowed so follow signs to parking along cart path.) The plots can be viewed beginning at 7:00 am until 9:00 am.
Alternative plant materials such as the nativegrasses and Kurapia are of interest for areas where turfgrasses are removed, especially in non-play areas of golf courses where there can be less inputs and maintenance.
