[Uaturfinfo] Turfgrass Field Day final reminder and directions

*** The Annual Turfgrass Field Day will be Thursday morning, May 11 at the UA Rincon Vista Sports Fields (note the new location which is southeast of the main UA campus). Parking is in lot on East 15th Street between Plumer Ave and S. Tucson Blvd, and proceed to field day entrance through soccer field. Featured topics will be subsurface drip irrigation for turf; spring transition; turf equipment maintenance demonstrations; sprinkler irrigation nozzle trouble-shooting; update of the salinity remediation research; and pest insect monitoring techniques. 2 CEU’s for pesticide applicators have been granted.
