[Uaturfinfo] Native grasses and groundcovers demonstration field day

[Umeda, Kai - (umedak)]

There will be an opportunity to view the performance of several nativegrasses and a newly introduced groundcover, Kurapia (Lipppia nodiflora). The planting and establishment experiment at the Camelback Golf Club along the 15th fairway can be viewed on Tuesday, July 19 anytime between 7 to 9 am.
The experiment is being conducted to evaluate and find alternative planting materials for golf courses and landscapes where turfgrasses are removed to conserve water, reduce maintenance, etc.
