[Uaturfinfo] Nativegrasses and Groundcovers Demonstration Reminder for July 19 & Annual Short Course on September 13

** There will be an opportunity to view the performance of several nativegrasses and a newly introduced groundcover, Kurapia (Lipppia nodiflora). The planting and establishment experiment at the Camelback Golf Club along the 15th fairway can be viewed on Tuesday, July 19 anytime between 7 to 9 am.
The experiment is being conducted to evaluate and find alternative planting materials for golf courses and landscapes where turfgrasses are removed to conserve water, reduce maintenance, etc.

** Mark your calendars to attend the 22nd Annual Maricopa County Short Course on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Maricopa County Cooperative Extension in Phoenix.  The highlighted topic will focus on herbicide resistance in turf and crops. Details will be coming soon.
