[Uaturfinfo] Final Reminders for education events this week

***  Continuing education units (CEU’s for ADA, OPM, ISA) have been applied for a seminar on “Managing for Healthy Trees” this Thursday afternoon, February 18 in Maricopa at the University of Arizona Maricopa Agricultural Center.
All arborists and landscapers are invited to register ASAP to attend to hear and see UA faculty present topics on salinity effects, weed control, insect pest management, pruning trees, and plant species identification.
See the attached agenda and send in registration forms and fees today.

***  You are invited to view a 2nd turf colorant demonstration on a dormant bermudagrass baseball infield at Campo Verde High School, Gilbert on Tuesday, February 16 from 10:00 am to noon.  Seven different colorants were applied on January 27 to compare their color and performance.  “Transition HC”, "MatchPlay UltraDwarf Super & Super 30”, “Endurant TC & Premium”, “Spaint”, and "Green Lawnger".
The campus is located in Gilbert, south of the 202 and Val Vista, then immediately turn right and go west to the campus and enter the driveway/parking lot east of the football stadium. Drive along the east side of the stadium towards the northwest end to the JV field.  Plz come at your convenience before noon.
Share this announcement with all turf facilities managers, high school coaches, school and municipal administrators.
