*** The 10th Desert Turf School will be January 4-8, 2016 at the Maricopa County Cooperative Extension office in Phoenix.  Registration online or by snail mail is open and due December 1.  Take care of registering before the hectic overseeding season.  http://turf.arizona.edu

*** A series of IPM Workshops are targeted for facilities managers and personnel of schools and institutional facilities (daycare, preschool, elder care, hospitals and medical offices, etc.).  Personnel responsible for pest management in and around golf clubhouses will earn Office of Pest Management (OPM) CEU’s while learning details about the latest disease threats vectored by mosquitoes, other stinging pests, and pesticide safety.  These workshops will be in Tucson on October 26, Phoenix on October 29, and in Casa Grande on November 10.  See attached flyers for details and to register for the free workshop nearest you.
