[Uaturfinfo] Turfgrass Field Day registration deadline is Monday

Only 2 days remaining to register for the Turfgrass Field Day. There is no fee.

Send in your registration form now to attend the Turfgrass Field Day on Wednesday, May 7 at the Karsten Turf Research Facility in Tucson. http://turf.arizona.edu/Turf%20Field%20Day%202014%20flyer%20final.pdf 

There will be presentations describing current research projects about:
 - “Irrigation impacts on salinity effects on turfgrasses”;
 - “Turfgrass remediation practices to reduce salinity effects”;
 - “Spring transition of winter overseeded grasses”;
 - “Development progress of saltgrass and curly mesquite for turf”;
 - “Turf tillage implements demonstrations”

The tour will begin in the morning promptly at 8:15 and complimentary lunch will be provided.
