[Uaturfinfo] Register for Annual Spring Turf Seminar and 1st announcement for Turf Field Day

There is less than one week remaining to register for the “Math made easy to grow grass” seminar on Thursday, April 10 at the Maricopa County Cooperative Extension in Phoenix.
Participants can better understand and learn about doing all the math calculations for calibrating pesticide and fertilizer applications, optimizing irrigation efficiency, and determining soil salinity.

The Annual Turf Field Day will be Wednesday, May 7 at the Karsten Turf Research Facility in Tucson beginning at 8:00 am and ending with lunch. The tour will describe irrigation impacts on salinity effects on turfgrasses; remediation practices to reduce salinity effects; spring transition of overseed grasses; development progress and status of saltgrass and curly mesquite; and turf tillage implements demonstrations.
