The Desert Turf School is still accepting registrations until Friday, December 6 since the previous deadline was a holiday weekend.
Be sure to sign up now to participate in the next class that is scheduled for January 6-10, 2014 at the Maricopa County Cooperative Extension office in Phoenix.

The week-long Desert Turf School teaches about the desert turf species and their unique management practices, desert soils, fertility and nutrition, salinity principles, irrigation audits and analyses, “smart” controllers, heat and drought stress, disease, insect, nematode, and weed management.

Past participants have included golf course superintendents, assistants, and staff members, sports turf managers, schools and municipal facilities managers and staff, commercial landscapers and crews, and allied business suppliers and consultants. Everyone gains more in-depth knowledge of our unique turfgrass growing conditions and related issues.
