[Uaturfinfo] Turf painting demonstration field days

Two turfgrass painting (or coloring, dying, tinting) demonstrations conducted by USGA and UA will be available for viewing on non-overseeded golf course greens. There are 11 products being applied during this winter and following 4 application dates, dramatic turfgrass colors can be seen among the treatments. The 6th application can be viewed on:

Monday, December 19 from 8-10 am at Whirlwind Golf Course in Chandler (I-10 to Wildhorse Pass exit, go straight toward the resort and Kai restaurant, look for sign to turn left into north end of driving range);

Tuesday, December 20 from 10 am to noon at Paradise Valley Country Club (enter at south end of golf course through vacant lot off of Lincoln just east of Tatum, proceed through gate on the cart path and park near tennis courts).

The demonstrations may be viewed at your leisure during the 2 hours sessions. Superintendents, general managers, club pros, green committee members, and sports turf managers are encouraged to visit the demonstrations.
