</span></span></span><![endif]><span style="color:#1F497D">Since we’re not considered hobbyist (but a “photographer”), the current plan is to register the UAV as an FAA aircraft. This is the same registration process as registering a plane. CALS’ Dean of Finance
 and Administration is going to look this over and see if the owner can be the operator and not a signee of the University.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Once this registration goes through, CCT will apply for a COA, listing the FAA # on the COA registration. We’ve already sent in our
<a href="https://www.faa.gov/uas/legislative_programs/section_333/">Section 333</a> for the area we want to film, which required no signature.
