Sorry for the short notice but I want to invite you to a seminar discussion on Monday morning at 9-10:30 when we have a visitor from CSIRO (Australia).  See below/attached for details.  Please share with others as you see fit.    To participate in the catered lunch (funded by the Antle Endowment funds), please notify Julie as indicated below.     Dr. Sirault will be visiting the Tucson Campus Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning to meet with iPlant and other UA colleagues.

Open to all (HTP group plus others), starting with Xavier giving a brief introduction seminar about the Australian Plant Phenomics facility and technologies (lab to field), followed by discussion and questions/answers.

10:30-11:30am

Tour of USDA-ARS-ALARC, see the Avenger and cart, gantry construction (J Dyer, R Ward, P Andrade)

USDA ARS Arid Land Ag Res Center (ALARC)

11:30 - 11:45

Meet with John Dyer, Research Leader Plant Unit, ALARC

ALARC

11:45 - 1:15pm

Catered working lunch; "strategizing for collaborations", open to UA scientists, ALARC HTP group and all interested in possible collaborations.
