[Staff] DOE Genesis Mission RFP

Dear Colleagues,

I previously circulated an email pertaining to "The Genesis Mission: Transforming Science and Energy with AI (DE-FOA-0003612)", which was issued by the US Department of Energy on 03/17/26, with a submission deadline of 04/28/26.

Applications are limited to one Phase I or Phase II proposal per focal area per institution, and the Office of Research & Partnerships has already completed a Limited Submission process to allocate these tickets. However, there is no limit on the number of proposals wherein an individual PI can serve as senior/key personnel.

If you are senior/key personnel on a proposal being led by another institution, please note that this is not a standard subaward submission, and a number of additional forms and processes required.

As such, if you are intending to participate as a collaborator on a proposal led by another institution, please notify the CALES Preaward Team as soon as possible, by completing the Proposal Intake Form here:

This will enable us to effectively manage team workloads and ensure you have the support you need to successfully submit your proposals.
