Hi all,


In case you missed it, UA faculty will be holding a Meeting of the General Faculty this coming Thursday, 3-5pm on Zoom. It's really important that everyone attend if at all possible-we'll be discussing the future of faculty governance, which has the potential to shape our entire university (not to mention our college) for years to come. Info below:

ALL are welcome (faculty/instructors of all stripes, staff, students, the public).


The last time we held a Meeting of the General Faculty was in spring of 2020, at the height of Covid. Over 1700 people attended, and it was instrumental to steering the UA's responses to the pandemic and the ensuing financial crisis for the better. This week's coming Meeting will, we hope, have a similar (or greater!) impact on the current crisis.


There have also been three op-eds published over the weekend addressing the ongoing leadership crisis at UA.
