<br>
The Habitat Restoration team welcomes you to be a part of our collaborative Spring project at Highland Vista Park gardens, located at 5300 E. 7th Street. Be a part of our partnership with Tucson Organic Gardeners (TOG) and Community Gardens of Tucson (CGT).
We are calling for volunteers to help us prepare the land with irrigation and water harvesting, and plant our food and pollinator gardens.<br>
<br>
We welcome water harvesting barrels, irrigation lines, funding, and those who want to help us prep and plant for a good cause. The gardens will be maintained organically by CGT.<br>
<br>
We are also looking for a local Tucson person to help co-lead our Habitat Restoration Committee. Our work is uplifting, enjoyable, and we need you! Not only are we getting ready for our Highland Park project, we are preparing for our 2026 Himmel Park project
with the City of Tucson, Tucson Organic Gardeners, and Pollinator Equity Project. We have exciting opportunities for you to grow with us!<br>
<br>
Habitat Restoration Committee’s work has inspired a lot of amazing projects! We advocate for nature and we support biodiversity. Our focus is native flora and fauna with organic land care to increase cooperation and reduce harm. We show how to reduce water
usage and how to restore waterways.<br>
<br>
The Habitat Restoration Committee creates organic food and pollinator gardens in communities, working to bring healthy food and habitats and habits to schools, parks, community gardens, and HOAs. Our Mission:
<i>We advocate for, develop, and deliver regenerative solutions that restore nature’s waterways and biodiverse systems utilizing nature’s remedies and building materials.</i><br>
<br>
Please join the Habitat Restoration Committee (<a href="https://SustainableTucson.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=40528b1cf8986bddd471f5e64&id=2b563f3345&e=5c8208cde1" target="_blank"><span style="color:#007C89">https://sustainabletucson.org/habitat-restoration-committee/</span></a>)
and let’s nourish communities and each other. Be a part of doing good while having fun.<br>
<br>
We’ll need volunteers to bring these exciting projects to fruition. So, if you are part of an organization that could partner with us, or are an individual who would like to volunteer or who has resources to help our mission, please contact Robin at
<a href="mailto:robin@sustainabletucson.org" target="_blank"><span style="color:#007C89">robin@sustainabletucson.org</span></a> for details on how to get involved.
