<span style="font-size:12.0pt; line-height:90%">The University of Idaho Department of Forest, Rangeland and Fire Sciences seeks an
<b>Area Extension Educator in rangeland ecology and management</b>. The position is a 12-month non-tenure-track position located in Boise or Twin Falls Idaho, with the following responsibilities: 80% outreach and Extension; 15% scholarship and creative activities
and 5% university service and leadership.</span></p>

developing an externally funded, nationally recognized multi-faceted Extension program emphasizing rangeland ecology and management that is relevant and responsive to stakeholders in Idaho and the western United States. Collaboration with other faculty and
staff in the College of Natural Resources and College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, as well as with government agencies and key industry producer groups and commissions, is expected.</span></p>

Funding for Extension and research programming will be obtained from external competitive grants.</span></p>
