<li style="margin-left:0in;" class="ydp2870d5fdyiv9958359450MsoListParagraph">Climate-smart grazing practices on 120 operations across 9 states and over seven million acres of public and private rangelands. ● Reduce the carbon intensity of beef production by
50-100% compared to conventionally-raised beef. ● Annual carbon sequestration equivalent to emissions from consumption of one billion gallons of gasoline or 10 billion pounds of coal. ● Provide $67 million in annual increased market returns for producers.”</li></ul>

We received $10 million to implement the largest climate-smart beef program in the West and a second $25 million grant to restore tens of thousands of forested acres in Oregon and Washington to accelerate the climate-smart wood building industry. This is a
landmark investment in the future of the environment, communities, and economy of the Pacific Northwest. <br>
