Hi all,

The BLM is advertising for GS 9 & 11 Rangeland Management Specialists in Burns, Vale, and Prineville, OR and the Spokane District. These jobs are open to the general public as well as current government employees. The job announcement should be in USAJobs
starting 8/1 through 8/12. BLM doesn't always open job announcements to the general public. This would be an opportunity for a person with an MS degree or non-governmental experience to start out as a GS-9 range specialist.

Burns BLM has an excellent grazing management program. The RMSs have opportunities to implement traditional grazing administration and management as well as grazing management to address sage-grouse habitat, fuels, wildfire, and invasive annual grass management
to name a few. We have good relationships with our permittees and the Harney County community. We work with other federal, state, and county agencies, plus local collaborative groups.

Please spread the word to anyone you think would be interested in one of these jobs.

Have a great day. Thanks.
