<div>My PhD advisor, Trevor Keenan, and I are looking for an undergraduate assistant to join in on some exciting field work at UC Reserves (Sagehen in the Sierra and Point Reyes) this summer. We'll be working with a new instrument that can 'see'<i>
</i>photosynthesis to study how drying soil affects plants over the course of the summer. </div>

<div>We're planning to apply for the <a href="https://ucnrs.org/research/field-science-fellowship/">Field Science Fellowship</a> to support the position, which would allocate the student a $5,000 summer stipend. The application is due Jan 20, so we're hoping
to talk with interested applicants soon.</div>
