<p class="MsoNormal">Range management on the Gila National Forest is both challenging and rewarding with forest staff across multiple resource areas working on several complex issues, including unauthorized livestock management, ongoing regional drought conditions,
and resource management involving T&E species and riparian areas. <span style="color:black">
A successful range manager will be comfortable with rural cultures, a skilled permit administrator, work closely with district range staff, be experienced with litigation, be a competent communicator, and have a long-term vision for range management that integrates
multiple resource areas. </span>The position will work closely with grazing permittees and partners, administer allotment permits, provide guidance into ongoing litigation, and maintain close communication and coordination with the Forest leadership team and
other resource areas.<o:p></o:p></p>
