<div class="" style="font-family:Optima-Regular">The position is intended to be for two years and will focus on the Lab’s long-term ecological data sets to build on foundational research on desert plants and bring new insights into the dynamics of life in the
desert.</div>

<span class="" style="font-family:Optima-Regular">The successful applicant will be based at the Desert Lab, help identify and develop research questions, lead analyses of existing data series focused on vegetation dynamics, plant demography, and mechanisms
driving change through time, and lead in the publication of results and the submission of new proposals. Opportunities for focused field work and data collection on Tumamoc Hill and throughout the Sonoran Desert will be also be available.</span></div>
