<div>Cal Poly has formally opened its search for a new livestock manager for its Swanton Pacific Ranch. Position is opened until filled, but we are desiring to fill the position by the end of December (2018). By "livestock manager" we mean someone who has experience
operating all aspects of beef cattle operations - both cow-calf and stockers. Despite the fact that this is classified as an administrative position, it does actually involve callous-building activities (building/maintaining fences, watering facilities, corrals)
- but usually with student assistance.<br>
