I am hoping to see you in Reno, NV for our annual meetings of the Society for Range Management.<span style="">
</span>Once again, we have a full schedule of student events planned.<span style="">
</span>We are hoping that you are planning to join us and participate in all or some of our varied student events and competitions.<span style="">

<p class="x_MsoNormal">I am writing to announce the development of a Student Employment Workshop on Sunday, Jan. 28 from 1-5 pm at the SRM Meetings in Reno, NV.<span style="">
</span>We used to hold this workshop as a regular event for students at the SRM Meetings and have brought it back due to student interest.<span style="">

<p class="x_MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">This year , Jessica M. Dhaemers, Rangeland Management Specialist for the US Forest Service from the Beaverhead and
<span class="x_SpellE">Deerlodge</span> National Forests in Montana, has offered to host our Employment Workshop.<span style="">
</span>We are excited to have her expertise and knowledge at this Workshop.<span style="">
</span>She is planning a short presentation including the following topics: 1) What does a federal resume’ look like?<span style="">
</span>2) Recent changes to the USA jobs website and application process, 3) How to set up USA jobs profiles?, 4) The Dos and Don’ts of the federal application process, 5) How to search for available jobs, 6) Questions to expect in the interview process, 7)
How to give a good interview, etc.<span style=""> </span>She will be available after the presentation to answer questions and help students prepare for “on the spot” hiring applications and interviews at the SRM Meetings.<span style="">

<p class="x_MsoNormal">There will be a Job Fair from 8-5pm on Sunday, Jan. 28.<span style="">
</span>The Student Employment Workshop will run from 1-5 pm and is located next to the Job Fair!</p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">Please plan to attend and let us help you secure a career!<span style="">

<p class="x_MsoNormal">Also, don’t forget the Student Conclave Mixer and Meeting from 5-8 pm (after the Employment Workshop) on the Chalet Terrace of the Nugget Casino and Resort (hors

</span>We will also be holding registration for several student events during this mixer.<span style="">
