We halted all spraying by mid September this year because the plants were just too dry to spray.</div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" class=""><br class=""></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" class="">In contrast, the canyons in the Catalinas are still wet enough to support green invasive Fountaingrass plants and now is a perfect time to get out and spot spray those plants.</div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" class="">We will need 6 to 8 volunteers to hike up Cargadera Canyon and spray fountaingrass next Saturday 4 November. This is a relatively easy 1.3 mile hike up a beautiful canyon on the northeast edge of Catalina State Park.
