and Parks, which operates an AmeriCorps National Service Program. Our AmeriCorps members serve 1,700 hours in an 11 month term (February – December) and contribute directly to natural resource management, public engagement, and volunteer recruitment. In return
for their service, members receive a monthly living stipend of $1,140 and upon successful completion of their term they are eligible for a Segal Education Award of $5,775. We are currently recruiting for our 2017 term that will begin February 1<sup>st</sup>,
and we’ll have 65 positions to fill. Our 2017 project areas are described below:
