open for 5 consecutive days or until 400 people have applied whichever is sooner. Instead of having to apply separately for different parks, the NPS has grouped the announcements. You can list your preferences for location and highlight your expertise important
to each location in your cover letters and resumes.</span></p>

advertised for positions of Less-Than-Full-Time (LTFT), also known as subject to furlough, were inappropriate for Term positions. Due to this determination, and at the direction of OPM and the Department of the Interior, some job announcements had to be cancelled
and are being advertised again with an appropriate work schedule. The work schedule deemed appropriate for our Term positions is Mixed Tour. A Mixed Tour work schedule may include periods of Full-Time and/or Part-Time work schedules throughout each service
year.</span></p>

the Wilderness Restoration program as well as the Mariposa Grove Restoration Plan, Merced River Management Plan, and Tuolumne River Management Plan. The workload far exceeds the capacity of the current vegetation and restoration staff, and it is anticipated
that some of these projects will continue for at least 4 years, and likely longer. These positions will support critical vegetation and ecological restoration efforts that will preserve and protect critical park habitat.</span></p>
