"The Bureau of Land Management Career Opportunity Internship is a rigorous 11-week project-based paid internship position. Interns will work in 2-person teams to help the BLM solve real-world natural-resource related challenges. The internship includes an expense
paid training in Phoenix, Arizona, a weekly stipend, paid travel to and from the site, and an AmeriCorps education award. Internships take place nationwide, including California, Idaho, New Mexico, Alaska, and other areas. This career potential internship
program is the result of a partnership between MobilizeGreen and the BLM. </p>

The Project</p>

Interns will work at a BLM site from June to August 2014, on select projects. Within the agreed project framework, the Intern-team will be expected take ownership of the project, deliver agreed project outcomes, and make final presentations. BLM staff will
serve as mentors for the project.</p>
