<div dir="ltr"><p>SNRE Graduate and Undergraduate Students!<br><b><br></b><b>EarthWeek 2014 call for abstracts!!!!!!<br></b><br>Abstract submission is open until <span class="" tabindex="0"><span class="">March 2nd</span></span> for the 5th annual UA School of Earth & Environmental Science student research conference EarthWeek 2014, <span class="" tabindex="0"><span class="">April 8-11, 2014</span></span>.<br>
<br>The theme for EarthWeek 2014 is “Scaling the World”. <br><b>Important Notes:</b></p><p>- Joint Poster Session will occur on Friday April 11<sup>th</sup> from <span class="" tabindex="0"><span class="">12:00-2:00</span></span> in the South Ballroom of the Student Union</p>
<p>- SNRE has graciously offered to pay for poster printing at the ART Lab. Posters must be printed by Tuesday April 8<sup>th</sup></p><p>- There will be prizes awarded to <b>SNRE students</b> for the top graduate AND undergraduate posters: 1<sup>st</sup> place: $250, 2<sup>nd</sup> place: $100, and 3<sup>rd</sup> place: $50</p>
<p> Additionally, SNRE will have one graduate student present during the joint plenary session. This individual will compete against graduate students in other SEES departments giving a 30 minute talk about their research.
