<p class="MsoNormal">Examples of courses in basic botany, plant anatomy or morphology, cytology, histology, genetics, taxonomy or systematics, algology, mycology, ethnobotany, and those dealing with specific problems of a botanical nature or with specific groups

<p class="MsoNormal">GS-13: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Examples of specialized experience are: "You must possess the Basic Requirements identified below to be considered eligible for all positions at the GS-5

<p class="MsoNormal">Provided technical expert assistance to the unit in matters dealing with threatened, endangered and sensitive plant species and plant community and vegetation management. Performed on-the-ground investigations of complex botanical conditions
and ecological conditions in support of botanical and other resource project accomplishments. Analyzed botanical resources for inclusion in botanical reports and environmental documents.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT: If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time in- grade (TIG) requirements with 52 weeks of service at the next lower
