postdoctoral positions are available at the University of California, Berkeley, to conduct bridging research connecting the themes of invasion biology, species interactions and global change, focused on the San Francisco Bay Area. On-going projects include
studies of interactions of plants with their symbionts and diseases, insect herbivores and their natural enemies, as well as associated economic impacts. Ecosystems under study include those associated with legumes, grapes, and olives, but also natural systems
and the urban/natural interface. Research in other relevant areas and systems is also encouraged, including quantitative analyses of community structure in space and time and novel approaches for the study of invasions, including citizen science. </span></span></font></p>
