Hello Tierra Seca members (and importantly the URME team):<br>

There will be a *paid opportunity for the club* coming up through the NRCS<br>
and the Altar Valley Conservation Alliance.<br>
<br>
<br>
It will consist of one day of field work, mainly helping them to finish<br>
some monitoring on a few transects. We are planning to have this take place<br>
on a Friday.<br>
<br>
<br>
These are the potential dates (only one of the three will be chosen):<br>
<br>
Friday October 19<br>
Friday November 2<br>
Friday November 9<br>

<br>
I will certainly be committed to helping them with this so that the club<br>
can earn a little money, and I hope a handful of you will, too. It is a<br>
great opportunity to get some hands-on experience outside of a classroom<br>
and to help the club earn some money!<br>

*PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND AND HELP OUT! I NEED TO<br>
GET A HEAD COUNT ASAP!* ...Also, I'm not advocating that missing class<br>
on a Friday is no big deal, but if you just happen to have only one class<br>
on Friday's that's easily missed.....well.....just think about it. The more<br>
the better! Plus it can go into your resume of projects that you've helped<br>
the club with!<br>
