Hello Tierra Seca Members and URME Team:<div><br><div><br></div><div>There will be an important event for the club to attend tomorrow. It is the <b><u>CALS Club Fair/Tailgate Party.</u></b></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
<div><b>Saturday September 8, 2012</b></div><div><b>4:00-6:00pm</b></div><div><b>Forbes Building Courtyard (on campus)</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>I found out about this event after we had our first club meeting, so that's why you did not hear anything about it then. I know that this reminder is somewhat last minute, but please stop by if you can. You don't have to stay for the entire event if you can't, but the more students we have representing our club, the better. </div>
<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>This event was planned by the CALS Agri-Life Council, which our club is a part of (myself and Alanna attend the council meetings). This club fair/tailgate is a way for the clubs within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences to come together, interact more, and have a good time. </div>
<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>There will be FREE FOOD AND DRINKS, a lot of socializing, and some games. It will be like a Tailgate Party, so if you are planning to go to the football game, stop by, eat some food, socialize, and leave for the game whenever you need to. There will also be raffles and door prizes, and potentially a raffle for free tickets for Saturday's game donated by Zona Zoo. </div>
<div><br></div><div><br></div><div><b><u>IMPORTANT</u>:</b> It is imperative that our club is represented at this event, because our participation makes us eligible to receive financial aid from the CALS Alumni Council this year (we received $1000 last year). The Dean of CALS as well as some of the CALS Alumni Council members will also be attending the Tailgate Party, so we want to make a good impression!</div>
<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Let me know if you have any questions about the event. Hopefully I will see many club members there (I will wear a green Tierra Seca t-shirt in case you have any trouble finding me there). Again, sorry for this being a late notice for some of you.</div>
