Good afternoon Natural Resource Professionals,
I am reaching out to ask for your assistance in disseminating a job opportunity that may be of interest to your students, recent graduates, or colleagues in ecology, wildlife biology, and related fields.
The Integral Ecology Research Center (IERC), in partnership with the USDA Forest Service, is hiring a Project Coordinator for the Sierra Nevada Amphibian Monitoring Program (SNAMPH). This program conducts long-term monitoring of federally listed amphibian species in California’s Sierra Nevada, including the Yosemite toad and Sierra Nevada yellow-legged frog.
Position Highlights:
· Location: Stanislaus National Forest, Sonora, CA (non-field season location negotiable)
· Start Date: February 2, 2026
· Compensation: $28–$32/hr (DOE), 35–40 hrs/week, with benefits (medical, dental, vision, 403(b), FSA)
· Responsibilities: Coordinating field operations, supervising an amphibian monitoring crew, managing data collection and quality assurance, and collaborating with Forest Service program leads.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in ecology, wildlife biology, or related field; 2+ years of project/team coordination
· Strong backcountry experience
· Data management and statistical analysis skills.
