Hi Carl,

Do you mind forwarding the below opportunity to ESPM folks?

Thanks so much!

I’m starting an Environmental Policy and Innovation (EPI) group at ETH Zürich in Summer 2025! In the meantime, I'm excited to support folks interested in applying for a Swiss National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship <https://www.snf.ch/en/m1NtWp4nTELQixlu/funding/horizon-europe-swiss-postdoctoral-fellowships> (due Dec 2, 2024) or Swiss Excellence Awards<https://www.sbfi.admin.ch/sbfi/en/home/education/scholarships-and-grants/swiss-government-excellence-scholarships.html> (PhD and postdoc; due date varies by country) to be hosted in the forthcoming lab!

If you are interested in apply to either of these fellowships, please send me (melissa.chapman at usys.ethz.ch<mailto:melissa.chapman at usys.ethz.ch>) your CV and 1-2 paragraph summary of your relevant background and future interests.

About the group: Sitting at the intersection of environmental, data, and decision science, the EPI group works to harmonize information on ecosystems and social systems to understand how we can more efficiently and equitably meet multilateral environmental targets. We value diversity and welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds. Anyone excited about understanding dynamics in social-environmental systems, devising effective and equitable policy tools for nature, and engaging in the ethics of data and technology is encouraged to reach out!
