Hi folks,


Blue Oak Ranch Reserve<https://blueoakranch.ucnrs.org> is hiring Summer Land Stewards! Help manage invasive vegetation, monitor oak seedlings, collect seeds, prepare herbarium specimens, clear trails, and assist with other projects at one of UC Berkeley’s Natural Reserves. Blue Oak encompasses nearly 3,300 acres of oak woodlands and grasslands east of San Jose in the Diablo Mountains. Assistant Land Stewards will live at an active field station with 50 beds and implement science-based land management practices.


Benefits & Wages: A basic screened cabin and shared kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities are provided. Pay is $22/hr.


Timeline & Start Date: The position is full-time for three months over the summer, with a start date as soon as possible.
