Hi everyone,

Solano RCD is hiring a Project Coordinator and Seasonal Restoration Technicians for the 2024-25 field season. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist with habitat restoration projects throughout Solano County.  Tasks include establishing native plants, irrigation operation and maintenance, weed control, propagation, and monitoring restoration sites.

The Seasonal Restoration Technician position is an entry-level position geared towards candidates who have an interest and some background in working with plants.  This is an immersive field position that will provide you with lots of hands-on experience in restoration practices over the course of nine months.

The Restoration Project Coordinator position is targeted at individuals who have several years of experience in the field of ecological restoration.  While this is still mostly a field position, the project coordinator will also have the opportunity to work closely with project managers on site planning, monitoring, outreach, and workshops.  This is a permanent position with growth potential.
