Position: Social Scientist (Science Coordinator), GS-0101-13 Full-time, permanent (1 Vacancy)

Duty Station: Remote Pay: dependent upon selectee’s location ($103,409 - $153,354); please consult OPM 2024 General Schedule (GS) Locality Pay Tables

Summary of Duties: The position provides subject matter expertise in social science to park units and programs of the NPS Intermountain Region (Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma). The position coordinates activities of the Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Units (CESU) network and supports parks and programs with an integrated program of cooperative research in the natural, social and cultural sciences. Incumbent assists parks and programs with identifying non-federal partners and developing agreements for research, technical assistance, and education support.
