Placer Resource Conservation District is hiring a Forestry Project Manager to manage projects to improve wildfire resiliency and forest health in Placer County. Projects include landscape-scale fuel breaks, post-fire restoration and reforestation, hazard tree removal, prescribed fire, education, and outreach.  The position is a full-time, non- exempt role, working approximately 40 hours per week. The position will report to the Forestry Director and will work with other staff as needed to ensure the successful implementation of forestry projects. Applicants who are not Registered Professional Foresters (RPF) will be supervised by an RPF.
