DFP is a special hiring program for students interested in conservation careers. Fellowships include:


  *   A full-time, paid 12-week summer fellowship term  (remote and in-person opportunities available)

  *   Free government housing or a stipend to support housing costs

  *   Health insurance coverage throughout the fellowship term

  *   Career mentorship and eligibility for a permanent position via direct hire authority upon successful completion of the fellowship and degree requirements

  *   Projects in species conservation planning, field surveys and monitoring for species, landscape-scale conservation partnerships, environmental law and policy, education and outreach, community engagement, digital communications, and more!


The program is open to  undergraduate rising seniors, undergraduate seniors, or enrolled/current graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (full eligibility requirements are listed at manoproject.org/manodfp<https://hispanicaccess-dot-yamm-track.appspot.com/2EGnQZpRSFma6SfDOlw0co-q_R28-g3NgWEjW-Anbrh3tBxtOiwEOcWoghdQSZzlpsysxiyu9xXzHEgtooOahGRIYlZYS8oDbrvrZC9welYWiLe1nAYBfugchMQqy7I6R7SnI37Errb_Bt0WdCc0E9XCwDwFJUTyle8M4U70nRX2bGoTtAQU6ma79_IyakGM>).
