ARIZONA STATE LAND DEPARTMENT IS HIRING!

Correction- this position is a remote work position located in the Prescott, AZ area. candidates may live anywhere within the Prescott administrative work area.

The Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) is Hiring a Senior Range Resources Area Manager in Phoenix, AZ. The Arizona State Land Department manages over 10,000 leases, permits, rights of ways, sales and other contracts relating to the management use and disposition of 9.2 million acres of State Trust lands. State Trust lands are lands granted to the State of Arizona pursuant to the federal Enabling Act. The Trust lands are held in Trust for the common public schools and 13 other public institutions. Any use or disposition of Trust lands must benefit the Trust's beneficiaries.

The Senior Natural Resources Manager (Land Manager I) position is responsible for managing grazing leases on State Trust land located throughout the State of Arizona on behalf of the beneficiaries of the Arizona Land Trust. The responsibilities of this position include processing range improvement and land treatment applications by reviewing applications, conducting field inspections and writing correspondence which summarizes project impacts, including supplemental conditions to minimize impacts to State Trust land resources.
