SDSU Extension is offering a temporary 5-year Extension Range Field Specialist I position. We are looking for creative and self-motivated professionals who will provide leadership to the development and dissemination of research-based programming and resources in support of grassland management with programming focus on prescribed fire and mechanical methods for woody plant control. This is a highly collaborative effort between SDSU Extension, USDA-NRCS, and the Mid-Missouri River Prescribed Burn Association. This is 12 month, full-time, benefit-eligible 5-year position based at the Mitchell Regional Extension Center. This position is supervised by the Agriculture and Natural Resources Program Leader with SDSU Extension.
