Hello Jeffrey Fehmi,

I am an architect based out of Los Angeles. Our firm is working on a house there in Pima County on an undeveloped plot. It seems like the Tucson area consultants are just up to their gills in workload! I am having trouble locating a professional to help survey the plots native plants for preservation and transplanting. Per code, I simply need someone with a B.S. or B.A. in a "plant oriented natural resource field" but I do need someone who has the ability to identify all the protected native plants on the plot.

I hope I am reaching out to the correct department, please tell me if I am mistaken. I was hoping you had a recommendation for a graduate student (or two) who would be able to go out to our site and survey the land, the protected native plants, help identify our set aside area of the site and identify if we need to transplant.

This service would be paid for. We would expect a proposal from the student that outlines their fee as they deem appropriate for the size of the site, their timeline and deliverables. Alternatively, if you know a referral to anyone - student or not, that would be wildly helpful!

I can send over more information about the site, but please let me know if I am in the right place, and if anyone would be interested in taking on some work right now.
