Dear SRM Members and leaders
 
  
 
SRM is seeking nominations for Board of Directors and 2nd VP for the 2023 election cycle. This means you would be considered a nominee at the 2023 Annual Meeting in Boise and the membership would vote in the fall of 2023, and if elected you would start your term in 2024. The descriptions of duties for BOD and 2nd VP can be found on the SRM Nominating Committee website at this linkhttps://rangelands.org/committees/entry/47/?gvid=5561. We are looking for talented leaders at all age and experience levels to bring fresh, thoughtful, and exciting direction to our wonderful professional organization.

The deadline for nominations is November 15, 2022.
 
  
 
Required information for the nomination packet includes:
 
1) Nominee’s full name, address, phone number, and email, and the office for which they are being nominated.
 
2) 2-page (maximum) biographical sketch highlighting the nominee’s qualifications (including education, employment, professional emphasis, SRM and other activities, and honors, awards, and recognitions).
 
3) 1-page (maximum) statement of why the nominee wants to serve as an officer or director.
 
4) A cover letter with a statement from the nominee consenting to the nomination and asserting his/her willingness to serve and evidence that the nominee’s Section, if applicable, has been notified of and
 
supports the nomination. No “Seconding” letters are required as part of the nomination packet.
