Subject: Summer intern opportunity with the Pima County Native Plant Nursery

Hello,

We would like to invite students in your department to apply for a unique summer internship opportunity with Pima County. We know that the summer session is approaching quickly, but the application process is very easy. All that's required from the student is the completed application (attached) and a 1-page essay about why they're interested, what they can offer as an intern, and/or what they hope to gain from their internship experience. Details are included on the application page that I've attached.

The internship is paid for by the Tucson Cactus and Succulent Society (TCSS), and the student is required to submit an oral report on their experience to the TCSS Board of Directors after they've completed their hours (160 hours over 8 weeks, the student's hours can be flexible within our hours of operation). TCSS will pay $2,000 directly towards the student's tuition at their educational institution of choice the semester following their internship. Students are welcome to reach out to me if they have any questions, my contact information is also listed on the application.
