the buffelgrass sampling blitz?

"Hello!

I am a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Elise Gornish's lab in the School of
Natural Resources and the Environment. I will be surveying the City of
Tucson to assess the extent of buffelgrass invasion in neighborhoods
throughout the city and identify potential buffelgrass hotspots and areas
at risk for brushfires. I am recruiting student volunteers for a sampling
blitz on the weekend of April 16-17.

I plan to take groups of volunteers out from 9 am-4 pm on Saturday and
Sunday to quantify buffelgrass abundance in randomly selected blocks
throughout town. We will provide snacks and water and you can choose one of
the items (or equivalent) below as a thank you for volunteering:
