My name is Preston Sands, and I am with Arizona Conservation Corps, a non-profit conservation organization in Tucson, Arizona. I wanted to make U of A students aware of an internship opportunity that we are currently offering with the Bureau of Land Management here in Tucson. This Border Restoration Internship with the Tucson BLM is a paid AmeriCorps opportunity
($500 per week) designed for natural resources students and alumni that comes with a $6,300 scholarship (or “Education Award”) with successful completion. Also comes with a Public Lands Corps certificate preferred hiring certificate (a great opportunity for starting a career with a federal agency!).
