Our position announcement is slipping down the lists of online job boards so I'm sending out another call for applicants to RSEC.  We still have an open search for a rangeland ecology and management, tenure track, assistant professor at Chadron State College (link below).

This is a 90% teaching position.  We are looking for someone to teach the following courses:  Introduction to plant science, Principles of Range Management, Range Plant Identification and lab, Habitat Inventory and Analysis and lab, and grazing ecology.  There is the opportunity for the right candidate to develop courses that fit with their own interests both within the rangeland management program as well as the essential studies program at CSC.

We have a growing program, a new facility dedicated to the study of rangeland management, and some emerging opportunities for the right candidate to help shape the direction of the program.  Those opportunities include institutional research funding, program level foundational support for research and professional development, and administrative support to expand diversity and inclusion initiatives within the range program.
