Seasonal Monitoring Tech.
UA Cooperative Extension is hiring contract positions to
assist with rangeland monitoring on the Tonto National
Forest from September 2021 to March 2022. Preferred
sills include: plant identification and knowledge of mon-
itoring techniques (dry weight rank, frequency, fetch,
utilization). Work is primarily outdoors and involves
physical exertion, including hiking, standing, crouching;
it also involves extended driving of 4WD vehicles/ATVs
over rough terrain, exposure to variable environmental
conditions, and occasional overnight camping in remote
locations. Personnel can be paid $20-25 per hour de-
