Tonto NF

The Tonto is now hiring for a 7-person botany crew to survey rare and
invasive plant species in the north zone of the Tonto NF (north of Payson,
Pleasant Valley, and Sierra Ancha Mountains)! These are entry level Corp
Member positions through Arizona Conservation legacy. Corps members are
paid a weekly stipend and are eligible for an education award (that can be
used for tuition expenses, or loan payments) once they complete their term.
We are also hiring a botanist or “botany assistant” that will work
alongside the crew and assist with trainings, plant ID, and occasional
office work (downloading data from tablets, printing survey maps, etc.).
